About Me

064.JPG

Ciao good people. My name is Christine and I was a Fulbright ETA living in Dungun, Malaysia (read: small fishing village on the East Coast of the Penisula) in 2018.

Through the process of living out of a suitcase for five(ish) years, I find myself continually re-affirming my commitment to what Leandra Medine has called “the school of self”. This blog is a means by which I can hold myself accountable to that decision, by focusing on all the ways I nurture my soul and mind through the ebbs and flows of life. As such, it is also an amalgamation of all of the things I love and love to talk about.

As a graduate from Villanova University (Class of 2017), I am an avid runner, yogi, peanut butter advocate, Francophile, and New Yorker reader. I have lived in Lille, France, the outskirts of Philadelphia, the suburbs of New York City, and now call Terennganu, Malaysia my home. While I have no idea where this blog will lead me, I do know that there will be unintentional typos and contradictions along the way. (I should note that the title is not a typo, but rather a reflection of some of the things I seek to gain from my experiences, e.g. gratitude and fulfillment.)

Thanks for coming along for the journey.
